The Institute of Feed and Agriculture of Podillia NAAS is actively implementing its own investment project “Scientific and Educational Center “AGRO-KEMPA” in the village of Bokhonyky, Vinnytsia district”.
The total area of the territory of the SPC “Agro-Kempa” IKSGP is −105 hectares, including 24 hectares under farm buildings, 59 hectares under arable land, and 28 hectares under forest plantations.
The developed project has the following direction:
- development of territories, production of organic products, socialization and rehabilitation of military personnel and their families;
- permanent modules of innovative technologies: in crop production, open and closed vegetable growing, horticulture, livestock breeding, beekeeping and fish farming;
- product processing sector;
- renewable energy production sector;
- factory” for the production of biohumus
- recreational activities: excursions, tourism (cognitive, green, gastro, etc.), family recreation;
- rural workshop
- educational activities of organic food and a healthy lifestyle.
According to the project, modular farms for the production of pork, ecological poultry meat, snail farming, and a greenhouse for growing ecologically clean vegetables are currently operating. In the future, it is planned to open a number of more modular farms aimed at creating conditions for improving the professional knowledge and practical skills of managers, agronomists, technologists, farmers and sole proprietors in the implementation of innovative technologies in the agricultural sector of the region, as well as increasing the prestige of the agro-industrial sector.
